Electrical Engineering in California

    Hey all,

I am a mature student with a BSc in Elec Engineering hoping to move with my U.S wife to California next year. I am aware that I would have to complete an EIT exam when I get there to apply for a job, has anyone out there completed this and how hard is it?.
Also while in college I had no training in IES and Revit, is this something that US college grads already have going in to the workplace and should I get trained in these softwares before I leave ?.

    Thanks

Can't help you with your questions unfortunately but just an FYI in case you weren't aware, Electrical Engineering over here is a pretty broad term, my title is Electrical Engineer but at home it would be Electronic. Just in case you get confused with the job listings.
