    Hi all,
I am a soon-to-be 6th year student and of course I have to begin choosing college courses!
Well I'm thinking NUIM or TCD for a BA degree, specifically music with either french or english.
Would anyone have any info on the pros and cons of the subject courses I'm considering, from their own experiences or from someone they know?

    Thanks :)

    Hi there,

Have you got any information from the Admissions office, admissions@nuim.ie, ask them to send you out a prospectus.
In 2nd year you'd have to drop one of those courses but don't worry about that until you have to. You need to HC??3? in all three to study them in first year.

I'm aware of a huge amount of reading in English and French and music is tough when you have to fit in your music practice and choir two evenings a week. It's tough going but Uni isn't easy and there is no easy option regardless of what you hear from other students. If you study what you love it always makes it easier!

Good luck with your choice :)
