Lost IMC cert

    Hi
    My IMC cert has apparently got lost in the post.
    Rang the medical council and they seem unconcerned.
    FFS.
    Should i be worried about this.

    Not really, you have paid the fee I assume

    Can you check online that your name is on the current register, if yes and you have not received cert and have receipt for paying annual fee then email
    registration@mcirl.ie

    or phone +353 1 4983160


    and they should issue you a new one

    If you are an NCHD hospital manpower may give you hassle for the cert but refer them to the medical council website to check your status

    No i got a replacement one there. I was just wary that the first (possibly lost) one that the IMC sent out might get into the wrong hands and misused (paranoid i suppose but it was just nagging me a bit). Anyway i got an assurance from the IMC they would take responsibility for it.
    Kinda strange they don't send it by registered post.
