Got a bath pop up waste - the type where you rotate the chrome plated overflow cover and the waste pops up. I reckon it is Sonas - but when I look at it fitted from above I see a brown plastic piece behind the chrome cover. Loooking at instructions - this is called a "cover plate". Has anyone fitted these and had a query from client on this? It looks ridiculous, so I've removed it. Hopefully I won't get a leak.
