hey,any ideas of the best place too buy bras in bigger sizes? its just i find marks and spencers are not great at fitting and not a great choice in bras!
I would love a sexy or pretty bra but instead end up with practical!!
not too mention, backless, halterneck bras are out of the option altogether as i can't find any at all!! :(
    thanks :)

Ann Summers still open in Dublin?

My sister is big and she told me she got some nice ones there, to impress her fella.

    Failing that, internets

Bramora on Earlsfort Terrace, Dublin 2 http://bramora.com/ - I've not been, but every review that's been posted here has been absolutely glowing. I notice you're in Meath, but it might be worth the trip to get properly measured.

Arnotts, Henry St, Dublin 1 - where I usually go to get measured, the ladies tend to be spot on. Great value in the sales too. Lots of your "sexy" brands here, as well as the practical.

Debenhams branches - their own "Gorgeous" range is very good and specialises in DD+. Sometimes have offers on where if you get measured you get a discount on bras.

The link to these places is that they stock a wide range of brands. A size in one may not be the same as another. It's a bit trial and error to find the brands and size for you. Try on looooads before buying!

Online, try http://www.bravissimo.com/ Before buying online though be sure and get measured somewhere.

Twee hit is on the head - Arnotts and Debenhams have some great bras for bigger ladies!

House of Frasier also stocks some of the brands for bigger ladies such as Freya and Fantasie.

How are Penneys for you? I'm 34C so not exactly huge but not small either and I find them absolutely brill. Totally agree about Marks and Spencers bras, very bad fit in my experience.
Lejaby are expensive but they would def be a great option.

Have a roam around lingerie dept in brown thomas and upstairs in arnotts.

I would second the ann summers route, I am a 38 dd myself but find ann summers the best for fit and style, and if you get to a shop during sale time you will get a great bargain, especially in the size you have mentioned

I would also highly recommend bramora, great service. You can look online at styles etc. but it's the measuring service that, for me, can't be beaten in any of the high St shops.
