Hi, i am just wondering does anybody know what are the guidelines in regards to repeating a coursework module from semester 1. I am thinking it is paying the 200 euro and resubmitting the 2 essays?.

I have gone into and spoken to the department and they told me to e-mail the module's lecturer but he does not know the correct procedure for repeating either. I hope someone can help me as i have 2 fairly lengthy essays to submit.

I had to repeat a Semester 1 assignment-only module, but the lecturer contacted me ages ago (toward the start of Sem 2) about it and I submitted it all by May or something.

Got a bit of a fright when I checked my results and it said I'd still failed it, but it turns out you don't get the marks for it until the rest of the repeat results are out which I think is a few weeks into the year... which is f***ing stupid.

As for the €200 repeat fee, I never asked but I had exams to repeat anyway... cuz I'm f***ing stupid.

I think the module co-ordinator is the person to tell you the correct procedure you need to follow. As you are repeating coursework (rather than a written exam), the repeating procedure will be somewhat dependent on the module (while still following Discipline, Programme, School, College and University rules). If neither the module co-ordinator nor the discipline can give you an answer - try your programme director and/or the admin office of your College.
