Horrendous Customer Service......if they call selling broadband run a mile

Three months ago a salesman called to our house telling us we could get top of the range broadband with no download limit, cheaper than our current provider so we jumped at it. Quite honestly it was the biggest mistake of the year.

We quickly discovered that there was in fact a download limit and the speeds we were told were available werent. We rang the next working day to cancel the package and since that day I've regretted ever signing up.

The latest is that we have a bill for €275, a different phone number and a customer service rep who was supposed to ring me back a month ago.

    Comreg is the next stop.

    Hi ozypozy,

Can you PM me with your eircom account number and I will look into that for you.

    Hi ozypozy,

Apologies for the delay in greeting back to you. I sent an escalation to managers in the cancellations to confirm that the final bill will be looked into as per agreed when they issued the closure of the account.

I will be back to you tomorrow.

    Thanks, Mark

I will be back to you early next week.
