Staying in the Royal Marine Hotel with the family for a few days next week. Any good spots for an 18 year old to go at night time?

Depends what you want. If you want a quiet drink you'll be fine, but if you are looking for a lively club, then Dun Laoghaire is definitely the wrong place for it. You could hop on the 46A into the city center though, the Nightlink will get you back afterwards.

A new place has opened in the shopping centre in the former 'Lime' bar nightclub spot. (opp burger king)

The Gilbert and Wright does be good.

Also the 40 foot is good imo. The 2 more lively, young places in dun laoghaire

Always found that place a bit Ropey, regardless of who was running it
