FWA Eircom

We had an Eircom FWA installation (one of the few apparently) at a rural location because Eircom could not supply DSL (line was 8k from sub exchange rather than 5k direct to the main exchange). It was rubbish speed but reliable.
Recently we were simply informed this service was cancelled from June and we had to find another supplier. Eircom said they would contact with alternatives but failed to do so. We have fallen back on using mobile at this location. Now Eircon are now looking for last months of Eur150 closing contract after us originally paying Eur800 installation.
Is there any Eircom reps on here? We've got a bunch of equipment no use? Pay to have it removed? No alternatives offered? Does the regulator not have any teeth in these issues? Anyone have any ideas on how to handle this?

eircom forum is in the Biz section. The regulator never gave a crap about eircom squatting wireless spectrum which is what this FWA product was in the main.

Thanks. Seems as I said the regulator is about as effective as the banking one and the customer suffers.
