1 day work and no entitlement

I would like to ask if anyone knows what can I do because I was getting JSB and had part time job 1 day a week. Then my JSB ran out and I re-apply and got again JSB cuz was working 13 weeks part time or something like that. But then I work 1 day and did not get anything from social welfare and when I ask them in the office why I did not get anything, they said that I have built up a pattern of 1 day work and so I am not entitled to anything when I work that 1 day. How could I be left with 63 euro per week?

Basically you have to show that your hours/days have been reduced in order to claim casual JSB.As you have been working 1 day a week for a time the dept is saying this is the norm for you.

If you are working 1 day per week you will be better off on jobseekers allowance which is a means tested payment but there is no level applied to your claim.
