Digital Switchover and wireless mics....

Hi, I currently use a wireless headset mic and hand mic when talking to large audiences. I have been led to believe that with the digital switchover of TV, the wireless mic signal will be affected if it uses UHF. I'm currently using VHF so think I'll get away with it. Can anybody here clarify if I am correct? TIA
