    Looking for a scene:

Preferably charcter being told of the death of his mother.
Even better, he does not talk to his mother no more.

Either way, any scene with a loved one.
Again even bettr, any scene where the character no longer ralks to the loved one?

    Any suggestions?

Cool hand luke, Paul Newman is brilliant. Sorry I dont have a link to the scene, I'm sure its on youtube though. He sits on his own and plays plastic jesus, very emotional

    Saving Private Ryan.

Tom Hanks telling Mate Damon about his brothers. First one that came to mind.

What about independence day? Is there not a child told his father is dead in that, at the end? Not sure if it's Will Smith that dies or not?

Also not sure why I'm bothering with spoilers, seen as film is so old. Not sure what the rule is on spoiler usage on here?!
