Trade in one 08 for two older cars?

    Hey lads,

I bought a 2008 Mazda 3 (petrol) two months ago. It has 40,000 miles.

My brother is starting to drive, and I'd love to sort him out with a car. My problem is I have no money.

Is it possible to trade a dealer my car for two lesser value cars?

Thanks in advance for your help! :)

I would go that route if I don't care losing some money(dealer's profit from deal) or I can't afford to be carless (in case you sell your car privately).

I think a 700-1000 Euro worth banger for a starter driver is more than enough.

Any deal with dealer will cost you more than that unless you buy two very undesirable car off the dealer.

Most dealers would tell you to f off, they dont want more stock they just want cash, If some dealer was to take you up on your offer you will end up with two crap cars and down a couple of grand.
Sell your own car and buy two more.
