    Most sports drinks are just maltrodextrin(mostly), fructose and protein with some flavouring. You can buy each of the ingredients for half nothing and make your own. Same for recovery mixes.

    How would you make it up? You have just linked to maltrodextrin. What else do you need?

    What about recovery mixes?

    Google your favourite drink and check the ingredients, generally it's mostly maltrodextrin and whey protein
