    Hi

    GAA - PERTH - INVERNESS

Does anyone know where it is possible to view GAA games between Perth and Inverness. I have been unable to find any Irish pubs showing matches

    Hi

I had to travel from Inverness to Glasgow last week to watch the hurling; thats a three hour drive on a good day.

Somebody must know where I can find a closer venue to central Scotland surely!

Hey, I'm living in Glasgow so I don't know anyone but I can ask some people who work in the bars around here and give you a shout if I find anything out.

    Thanks Pipee

    Any help would be appreciated.
There are a lot of big matches coming up shortly

I know, I missed the hurling last week as I forgot about it. Seems to be a lot of Donegal fans in the place where I watch matches so will be interesting in 2 weekends time (Cork fan here).

I was alone watching matches the whole time until now and then Donegal play Kerry and they are coming out of the woodwork. :p

    Hi Pipee

Well good luck to you in the football. I am a Galway fan (sorry about that) I hope you won't hold that against me. I would very much like to see Tipperary v. Kilkenny next Sunday and enjoy, what should be, a cracking Hurling match

    Kind regards,

    Narango

AFAIK there is a GAA club in Dundee, so if you get in contact they might have some details on somewhere closer.

Also Premier Sports carries the GAA games in the UK. So if you find a place that has a subscription or you get one yourself you could watch the games

Not sure where or how games are broadcast in the UK these days. In Edinburgh you used to be able to watch in most of the Irish bars, Ryan's was my preferred spot but they used also be available in Biddy mulligans and finnegans wake.
Seems finnegans wake are listing the hurling on their website.

I'm sure if Finnegans have it, the others will have it too.

Ah I kind of figured you were one of the two alright. Delighted to see Galway doing well this year myself and sure it would have been nice to win but I hope ye can go on and win now instead. :D

Hi guys. Going to Glasgow for weekend with the missus and hoping to catch the hurling on Sunday and wondering where would be showing it in city centre.
Waxy O connors webiste looks to have it listed on it but wanted make sure they were showing the game.

Also is there a charge to watch the games in pubs siimilar to America?

No charge, there are a few spots that will be showing it. I'd imagine Waxys will, they usually show all the matches but I haven't seen anything in there yet. I usually watch stuff in Molly Malones but it can be fierce quiet (no one else watching the matches anyway). I've heard O'Neills on Sauchiehall street (there is two, not the one in merchant city) can have a crowd sometimes but haven't a clue about there either. All these places should be showing them and probably a few more but I can't say which one if any will have many other viewers.

    Thanks for your thoughts Pipee.

Cruiserweight: I will look out for that club in Dundee; you don't know the name of it do you?

    MJP I have post codes of pubs that are showing matches in Glasgow: O'Neills Merchant: G1 1NY / O'Neills: G2 3LG / Jinty McGinty's: G12 8SJ ( Not 100%
sure about this one but you could check it first)
