What to do with an old car?

    Hi guys,

I got a new car recently, and my old one is still sitting in the driveway while I figure out the best thing to do with it... Just looking for any suggestions!

It's a 00 Clio, over 100k miles on it, emissions through the roof. Runs fine generally, haven't had any problems with it, but it'd cost a bomb to get fixed to get through the NCT, hence me getting a new one. It's not taxed anymore either.

I reckon I wouldn't have much luck selling it unless I lie about it, which I'd rather not do.

I've been told that there are scrappage companies that will buy pretty much any car off ya. Anyone familiar with these? Suggestions?

    TL;DR
I have an old sh*tbox Clio that I want rid of, and I'm short of cash. What's the best plan?

    Cheers

Chuck a bucket of paint over it and sell it for €100 K as a piece of modern art! :pac:

take her down to the scrap yard and get a few quid for it, otherwise put it up on the donedeal for a 500 and let anyone who wants to buy it buy it.
