Hey, I am a PPL holder at present and hope to go on to complete the ATPL theory, CPL, MEIR and MCC. I am thinking of going to Greece to complete the CPL and MEIR. Presumably I will then be issused with a Greek license (HCAA) can anybody tell me if it is hassle getting the license changed to an IAA one? And is there any cost involved? Also,is it possible to do all the training in Greec but the skills test in Ireland? Cant find much info regarding this on the IAA website. Thanks

I would imagine not since to get your licence you need the theory exams for the CPL. Ireland and Uk have dual recognition but beyond that there's nothing that is Europe wide. I would imagine that the authority within which the training took place is the authority you would need to sit the test with. So, I'm guessing answer is no.

Once you have the licence though I think it's not too much hassle changing over. You'll just have to submit documentation to the IAA and pay the fee (few hundred euro I think).
