On route to Paris and would live to see the hurling anyone know of any Irish pubs in the city showing the game?

I've watched a few games in a pub called The Fifth Bar, 62 Rue Mouffetard in the Latin Quarter over the years.
(Although its about 3 years since I was in there last.)

The owner/manager there is an Englishman but he loves his hurling !

Its about a 3 minute walk from Place Monge Metro on Line 7.

If you want to phone the pub in advance the number is 01 43 37 09 09.

Read the heading and was looking forward to an article about moving Munster final to Paris.

As a suggestion why would we not look to move something like a Munster/Leinster final abroad as a one off to see. I mean American football play a game in London, baseball and basketball play regular season games in Japan and we have had the debate about adding premiership soccer games in foreign countries.

If research was done to find cities that had a high number of ex-pats (london for example) then it may be a viable test. I know we have the All-Star game abroad but thats jst a joke.

They did host the 1947 AI Senior Football Final in New York. I couldn't see anything like that happening again in the near future though.

Great bar, this is a sound recommendation.
