front teeth enamel wearing off..options?

Well as the title suggests the enamel on my front two teeth is noticibly wearing away. They have always been a bit thinner than the other teeth and the bottom of them was always see through, which the dentist told me was fairly normal as I have a slight overbite. Now however the enamel is wearing away on the whole tooth…

Well as the title suggests the enamel on my front two teeth is noticibly wearing away. They have always been a bit thinner than the other teeth and the bottom of them was always see through, which the dentist told me was fairly normal as I have a slight overbite. Now however the enamel is wearing away on the whole tooth and parts of the tooth look to be very dark brown and the teeth have a slightly gritty texture. Just wondering are crowns/veneers the only options?and what prices would be involved?

Better to ascertain what's actually causing the wear first, & treat accordingly....otherwise any veneers/crowns will chip/wear in a similar fashion.
If your dentist thinks it's complex, may be well worth seeing a prosthodontist for a consultation.
