    Hey all,

Just seen a boards deals for a 150 hour TEFL course, its provided by Global Leadership College...

Is the course good or bad? Are the providers any good?

    Cheers in advance

From what I've read on here . It depends where you want to teach . In Ireland they require an ACELS certified qualification or a CELT or CELTA. Then there's a TEFL qualification for those undertaking or finished a teaching qualification and are state qualified teachers also recognised by ACELS and the department of education and skills . I'm not sure how recognised that qualification you mentioned is though

    It does cover the basics.

However, because its not accredited by ACELS (Dept of Education) and doesn't include any actual classroom experience, you would not be able to teach in Ireland or the UK with it. If you wanted to use it to travel, say in Asia, then you likely would get a job with this.
