Saturday July 14th (probably night time):

If you lost a type-of-a-commuter-ticket near Heuston Station, send me a message as a relative found one.

No point in giving it in to the authorities because - well, if it's yours, you'll know why!

    No :)
Why the reluctance to hand it in to the authorities? Or Your local social welfare office or even pop it in a postbox and it should get back to its owner if it is legitimate.

Does it belong to someone famous ?

Er...so much for my 'security measures' to ensure that only the rightful owner gets it back, but anyway...there are two reasons for my reluctance to give out any info, onr being that while it's not worth an exhoribant amount, if it was me who'd lost it, I'd be glad to get it back, and secondly, and more importantly..

it doesn't have anything on it by which could be used to identify the owner. As it nothing at all.

However, it's worth a try posting on here.

But it was found by an extremely cash-strapped student, so rest assured, if it's not re-united with it's rightful owner, it won't go to waste.

Careful though as if a photo Id is required for it and it already has the photo id number written on it you would not be able to use it.

    Ah.

And there was I thinking it might have belonged to someone famous and saying, fair play to the OP and their relative for keeping it private and out of the papers. :o

This is known as "theft by finding". It should be given to the appropriate transport company or local garda station.

Use or attempted use may result in criminal sanctions.
