    could be rear exhaust box on the way out(inside burned), but no holes to outside. no worries, just ignore :)

    It might be the clutch on the way out.

    Exhaust leaking, wheel bearing and clutch slipping would be the common culprits.

    But honestly, your description can't lead to any accurate answer.

    Only if its deemed a safety issue. You'd normally go to a garage with suspected mechanical issues.

    Hard to say from your description.
    Take to NCT and see. If they don't say anything take it to a mechanic anyway.

    Are you sure its not when you have your foot on the clutch your hearing the noise???....clutch release/thrust bearing, it wont fail but be worth noting if it gets louder.
    Its normal to hear some "note change" when depressed as the bearing "loads up"

    I went to Nct it only failed the Lights been to high

    the noise only comes in when i engage Accelaration if i lift my foot it stops

    it doesnt happen straight away it comes later

    but is noticable on the M50 or long stretch

    Does it happen when the car is not moving if you rev the engine?

    Is the noise vehicle speed related or engine rev related?

    No if i rev it its not making the noise, its engine rev related if i take my foot of Accelarartor , the noise dies down until i rev it again

    :confused::confused:

    I think you'd be better letting a mechanic drive it and hear it for themselves.
