    Hi there folks,

having a bit of trouble with this one. We make 10W paper lamps which are two pin plug from Korea (like this one)

we use a standard lamp switch

with a connector which is like this one except the line connects together

The bulbs are the screw in kind.

What we want to do is to get these certified so we can sell them legally here in Ireland. Is there a way we can use what we have to safely put a 3 pin plug on the Korean plug keeping expense as low as possible.

If not, can anyone advise me if we were to upgrade to 15W, where could be buy a connector that would allow us to do this.

    Is an LED light possible???

Hope this makes sense. Thanks in advance folks .

Firstly you'll need a design. Then you'll need to ensure that design that is CE compliant before you can sell products here. Also your production system for producing these will need to test them, i'd imagine each will need to be Hi-Pot tested, but i could be wrong on that one.

To be honest if you want low cost design you'd be better off buying a from a recognized manufacturer in the far east and leverage off their experience. Do you really want the overheads to set up a production system here? Do you want to pay for CE compliance testing/certification?

Have some table lamps in the house that were bought with the type of plug set-up in the image attached
