    Hey,
I was looking at the HP Envy 17 or the Dell XPS 17 and as the envy seems like a pain to get a hold of/customize I m gonna go with the XPS.

Just wanted to check it out with ye guys to see if there was any issue's I should be aware of.
The reviews online suggest it heats up and the fans are noisy, anybody else experience this?
Any comments on the 3D screen?

    Thanks

In this case pretty much yes, reinstalling windows and swapping a few keys is very easy to do.

If you based in Dublin the PcWorld in Carrickmines should have them on display.

Jesus, an extra €600 compared to buying on line. Watched a couple of videos last night and have to say the Envy is very slick.

Dell have an offer on at the moment with 400 off free deliver so can get the highest spec XPS 17 for just under 1300. arrrrgh.

    Decisions decisions ha ha

I just find it mad that HP dont have the same setup as Dell for ordering and customizing.

    also there's warranty concerns.
