Squeal from brakes

I replaced the front rotors and pads on our Stream about 3 weeks ago using Bosch parts (not OEM) but reputable enough me thinks. Anyhow, I now have a squeal upon braking at low speed or when the speed of the car is low. Braking is fine and solid but the squeaking is annoying.

I re-used the shims and cleaned everything with brake cleaner and a wire brush. The slider pins were greased with copper paste and that's about it. Before I strip this again anyone any suggestions of how best to deal with this in one go?

Copper grease on the backs of the pads too.

Will do - I presume this is a short term solution? I.e. the grease will wash off eventually?

    Thanks

If it does, it's not a huge job to do it again but my experience is that once you do it, you won't have the squeal back.

Good point! Right so I'll give it a bash.

No it should stay on a good while, well until you remove them for whatever reason.

1 More paste on the backs to stop vibration.
    2 Bed the brakes.
3 There is also a solution with duct tape but many are reluctant to try that.
