    Charity swim events
    Hi,

A few friends and I Would like to complete the charity swims held out at windsurfers etc

I was told I needed to be a member of a swimming club for the orphans aid event - can you join swimIreland instead and get some form of licence/also are there specific non competitive charity swims?

    Many thanks for any info.

I think you will have to register with a swimming club, then in turn they register you with swim Ireland...afraid it's the only way...

Special Olympics charity swim was on last week...
