Looking for feedback on Minecraft co-op show

A couple of weeks ago my girlfriend and I decided we'd record ourselves playing Minecraft and upload it to YouTube for a bit of fun, we're 9 episodes in now and enjoying ourselves but sometimes we feel like we're the only ones!

We'd love a few more viewers to entertain and also to interact with. Sadly the viewers we do have don't really talk so it's impossible to get feedback, but hopefully a few of you can let us know what you liked a disliked and so on.

I don't know will you take this as a compliment, but you guys remind me of Syndicate and Kate (hopefully you know who they are...). I quite like the series, though. Great job!

Oh! Syndicate is a reaaaaly popular commentator and he plays Minecraft with his girlfriend, too.

Ah, I should be flattered then I suppose!
Very interesting, I did wonder when starting this show, how many others were doing something similar. It appears they are in a similar situation as we are from what I can tell, long distance relationship and all. Sadly our channels are not in a similar situation!

You two and them two are the only people I've seen do that kind of series.

Well the fact that we are somewhat unique could help with the problem of doing videos on one of the most popular games on YouTube. Hopefully it will be enough to get more people watching. Just hard to get noticed.

Watched all 10 episodes, a good bit of fun to watch, had a good laugh at the stairs Nicole built down her mine
A bit of advice; use shift-click! Can get a bit annoying moving items one by one

That is so great to hear, I really didn't expect anyone to watch them all, perhaps we don't give ourselves enough credit.
Nicole's stairs were an absolute classic moment, but I forgave her because she's relatively new and because it's hilarious.

I'll try to shift click more often, I know sometimes I don't because I am anal about placing things in specific ways, other times I just forget. Thanks!

I liked them. You should consider modding it to add some content. Tekkit is my favourite because it adds so much to the game.

I must say, I do prefer vanilla Minecraft, but perhaps in a future series we could mix it up with some mods, I know a lot of people are doing that now and perhaps it's detrimental to our potential to stick to vanilla when people want to see more, but I enjoy it and I know Nicole does too.

I am sure we could work something out in the future.

BTW could anyone recommend some other co-op games we could play together? We were looking at Civ 5 but we don't think that would make for interesting videos, Diablo 3 was another option but two copies of that ain't cheap. We are just thinking that it may be wise to play something different along with Minecraft to try get a wider audience.

Borderlands has a great co-op system, and if you intend to continue with this you can pick up borderlands 2 in september when it comes out

I loved Borderlands when I played singleplayer, I think we'll have a look at that but I know Nicole played it before and wasn't a big fan, we'll see. Jumping on Borderlands 2 on release could get us a nice increase in viewers. I wouldn't feel great about that but it's just how YouTube works.

We also have another game we bought a few months ago in a Steam sale called Nation Red which could make for some interesting videos.

Hope I don't get in trouble for bumping this up, but we've just uploaded our 13th episode and in this one we added an outro that I spent all night on even though it looks simple enough. Hopefully you guys can check it out and let me know what you think.
