I keep getting this when I try to open my Java Preferences
'cannot launch Java Application uncaught exception in main method: java.lang. NullPointerException

I'm trying to update my phone using Bridge for Sony Ericsson and it says I need to be running Java SE 6. I googled it and apparently you activate it in the java preferences but I can't because of that error. Can anyone help?

Downloading Update 10 for 10.5 seems to have done the job for getting the java applications working again.

Still can't get the Java SE 6 working for the update. :( I'm on 10.5.8
It's core 2 duo so it is 64 bit so it should run Java se 6 shouldn't it?

Yay for me! I got it working. Should have disabled the Java 5 and let Java 6 run. :o
