I'm looking for the trailer brake valve on a JD6400. Its causing the 4WD to come on when the brakes are pressed which is OK, but the 4WD doesn't disengage when the brakes are released
Anyone know of any breakers where I could get one? They cost around €500 or something new

You sure it's the trailer brake valve? Is the problem any better or worse depending on cold or warm oil?
Bennetts is a crowd in Bandon that are good for most stuff they may have it,don't have the number offhand but I'll see can I find it somewhere, have it wrote down.

Sound, thanks. I've tried Tanners but they have none
I'm told its the trailer brake valve anyway. I'd it off a few months ago and cleaned it up and it worked OK for a while but its back at it again. Makes no difference if the oil is hot or cold

No bother.I found the number but can't post it.It's online anyways.
The reason I asked about the oil is that I've heard of one before doing the same thing and it was a leaking seal in the pack engaging the 4wd.But that was on a 10 series and I don't know is the 00 series using the same system (hydraulic pressure holding off the 4wd switched by a solenoid). The problem only appeared when the oil was warm, when it was cold the oil was too thick to bleed pressure out of the system.

I hope yours is the trailer brake valve :)
    Happy hunting.
