DRIVER MISSING

Cant seem to hit the driver off the tee box. Get up and hit it 50 yards down the fairway, but can get up and hit my 3 wood just as far as the lads drivers.Is it all in my head??? Its starting to make me simple :mad::mad:

Had the same issue at one point. Take a couple of lessons with a good pro and head to the range and work on it. You will solve the problem.

Why don't you try another driver (mates driver) for a round to see if it's you or the club

So if you're getting the same distance as the rest of the lads with your 3 wood;
I'll bet your trying to bust it out of the park with your driver.

So you know you can get the distance already,- be cool about it when the drivers out, smooth, easy, calm, etc, etc..

If you are hitting it brilliantly on the range but just can't hit it in competition, I'd say it is a mental block. However, if you're just not hitting it well at all, I'd say it is a technical problem.

Either way, until you are feeling confident with it stick with the 3 wood!
