My six months are up at the start of October and I'm half way through my lessons. Will I be able to book the test now or do I have to wait until my lessons are finished?

You can apply for a test but you will notbe issued with a date until all 12 lessons are completed and registered on the EDT portal. And of course any date given will be only on or after the 6 months from permit issue date. good luck.

You can book your test once you have had your first learner permit for 6 months now that has passed you can apply when you want but you won't be issued your test date until after you have completed your EDT lessons so you be as well to wait until you have them completed.

You can apply for your test once the 6 months of your first license has been valid and held for that length of time. Though when you apply after that rule doesn't apply to you any more it doesn't really matter when you apply just that you can't sit the test until you have completed your 12 EDT lessons!
