    hi all

BBC IPLAYER , but it appears its not available to irish viewers.

Is there some way around this?

A Proxy UK IP address , a little bird mentioned this to me!

Any ideas? Just googling it and most of the advice is how to get player on PC in diferent country , its on TV i want it!

ps In ordinary language - Not technical !

    Many thanks

    MINDER

afaik you will have to set up our router to connect to a proxy ip . then connect your stb to the router.

dont know how to do it but i'm sure if you google it you will find the info..

You'll probably have to pay something for the proxy as well. There are free ones around but they seem to be unreliable and the disappear after a short while and I think you can only do it with certain types of routers.

As has been the case in this forum category, discussion of circumventing IP restrictions is not allowed.

Does the router have to have it's setting changed or can you just input the relevant details in the network menu on a humax freesat box?
