I found this calculator which allows you to work out in theory if it's more sensible to buy or rent as well as how things pan out over X years.
It's in dollars but it'll be looking at proportions so I don't think that's a problem.

I thought people might find this interesting and hopefully also useful!

Does anyone have any thoughts on this? Does it seem reliable to people?
