California Connoisseur Johannisberg Riesling SG Problem

    Hi, been doing the "Riesling". Today was my 8 day mark.Checked my SG and according to the instructions the reading should be round about the 1.010 mark. Mine is at 0.991 after 8 days. The average temp was between 23-24 C. Did I do something wrong?
    Any thoughts on this.

    No nothing wrong, just had a quick ferment. The instructions are probably written like that to keep people patient about the fermenting wine :)

    So will leave it and start degassing on day 20 etc. as per instructions :rolleyes:
