Kinda half thinking about doing this, just wondering has this been held before and what the interest level in it is like? Im assuming the Boat Inn will be dishing out soup and sambos after?!?!

This is the first time the Boxing Club have used a cycle to raise funds. However all of us involved have organised leisure cycles and a three day Race so no lacking in experience. Interest has been high as we have 70 members in club and parents are doing their bit to take part plus a lot more people enquiring . We will have Garda Motor bike support and Marshalls at the main junctions/turn offs. Showers afterwards provided by Oughterard GAA and sandwhiches and home made buns etc in meeting room above main stand of GAA. Boat Inn for liquid afters is always an option. Hope to see you on the day

In Oughterard today, think I saw a sign on a lamp post that this is on this coming Sunday, the 28th July.

    Can someone please confirm?

Also, details of routes, entry fee and food/water stops would be appreciated.

    Thanks.
