Praktica repair question

    hello all,
I have an old Praktica B100 camera from about 20 years ago, I used it a lot while in college. But not since, however I’m about to dive back into taking a few pictures.
From memory the last few rolls of film I put into the camera all those years ago came out blank. I.e. there is something wrong with the camera. I have 3 lenses with the camera so I’d hate to see it go to waste. I have no idea if the fix would be cheap or expensive, or would it cost me a lot to even get it looked at? And is it worth getting fixed?
I purchased a canon 1000f on ebay the other day, to realise afterwards that the lens fittings are different. I don’t know why I assumed they would fit. So now I’m looking at buying new lenses or getting a converter. The converter is only about 10 euros, but is there any disadvantage to using it?

Maybe these films were not sealed properly and some light overexposed them long time before you use them? I'd say buy cheapest film and shot some photos just for fun then give it to post process. You don't have to order prints, just make sure that your camera is okay and back panel is hermetic.
By the way, you can get Praktica for circa €30, so if yours doesn't work properly it is not worth fixing imho.
