Landcruiser power steering leak...somewhere?

I finally got round to getting my mechanic to look at my 75 Series landcruiser today after buying it about 8 weeks ago. All good news, its in great shape for its age (a '94 with 300K on the clock).

The only real issue I'm having with it is that I need to top up the power steering fluid every 3-5 days depending on how much I'm driving it. My mechanic said he couldn't find a leak or evidence of it leaking. He topped it up by 100ml. I've probably put about >1L into the system since getting it.
I don't want to fork out on a new pump/system if its just a leak somewhere.
Anybody got any experience with this issue?
