XC90 Tyres needed -advice please

Need new tyres for my car asap as down to the limit and going on holidays soon. Tyres are 235/60/18 107v. Currently has Accelera Iota tyres which it has had since I've owned it (2.5yrs, 30K). I've been happy enough with these tyres, even through two really bad winters but to be honest something with a slightly better grip would be good as you have to factor in a bit of braking distance on the xc90, it's a big heavy car.
Any advice? I can't afford bridgestone and pirelli, was looking at something in the mid-range but not sure which brands are best, Hankook, Nankang, Kuhmo etc?

I use Camskill.co.uk to browse for brands/models then I google the tyres to read reviews on tyrereviews.co.uk

Once you made a choice, know the UK price+ship fees+local fitment, you can call a few places and ask them for this tyre and price. If the local price is close to Camskill dont bother ordering them from the UK.

From what you are saying, the Toyo Proxes T1 sport seems to be a good match, reliability and budget wise. It shoukd cost you anything betwen 140-160 euro localy, fitment included. This is a summer tyre though.

3 are at the limit so I'll be replacing the 4. Budget would be max 170 each. I've been looking around 2 places locally and 1 place north of the border, but with current euro sterling exchange rate the difference is not really worth the journey. But I'm having problems with some tyre places not seeming to stock or be able to get hold of certain brands in that size/load.

Try alloy-wheels.ie, give them a call, they have always provided an excellent service to me at a reasonable price and can get you pretty much anything.
