Where do you get the student loans from?

I just wanted to know. I'm not sure if I'll be studying in England or Ireland. I won't need one if I stay here. But if I get my course in England I'll need a loan.

If I wanted to take out a loan for an English university. Where do I get the loan from? Would it be an Irish bank or a English bank?
Could I do either??

Are there any student loans you can get where you pay back after you start working? or even just after you've completed university?

I only need the loan for living expenses really, or I may try and find a job it might be hard in first year.

I had a look at that. Could I just get a loan for living expenses rather than the full loan as I can pay for it all with savings I have already. It's just the living expenses I need the loan for.

I don't think I can get grants only loans.
