A search for DEC PDP on eBay shows that the spare parts alone may be worth a few quid.

I hope it's worth a lot, that's one cool piece of kit. This would have been the tape feed servers we'd see in old movies would it?

Throw up an oul' pic there. :) Must admit I've never seen one.

No idea how much it's worth tbh.

I'm just going off the wiki entry. It runs on tapes in that picture. It's like looking at dinosaurs.

Would you not consider selling this somewhere other than Adverts?
This truly is a collectors item and I think you're seriously limiting your audience on adverts as opposed to Ebay?

(I know Ebay can be a bit of hassle but for something like this I'd seriously recommend it. Even if you put it up for some (ostensibly) ludicrous amount of money. If it really is in working order you might well sell this to a collector for some serious money.)

Alternatively you could email these guys : jwest@classiccmp.org. They should be able to tell you what it's worth and might even find you a buyer.

There's 2 adverts there for a 11/45, one at e1000 one at e2000. Confusing. Back in the day, so to speak, the PDP-11 was actually a mini-computer, not a mainframe. You should have seen the size of them!

I wonder does anyone remember playing Spacewar on a VT100 ?
