I do 16km each way, from clonsilla to Spencer dock area and when I'm on the move i don't really see many until i hit the castleknock/park area.

Is the poll for a weekly total or daily. Mine is about 24 km round trip but I only do it a couple times a week

About 35km (22 miles), but I don't cycle it every day. It depends on the weather and what my work day looks like.

My commute is 35km each way, but I'd only cycle once, maybe twice, a week.

    15-20km
Mine is about 15km round trip, which I do about 4 days a week. All downhill on the way in, all uphill on the way back. I usually finish in the middle of the night, so empty country roads. Love it

At the moment I do approximately 53km round trip daily, sometimes a bit more and today I made about 4km shortcut on my way home...

    20-25km
Commuting wise, I do just under 20 km round trip for 6 or 7 days in a row then I'm off for 7 days. If I'm on nights, I try and get out for a spin or two but day shift doesn't give me enough time as I start at 6 am.
On my week off I like to get out a couple of times on my own or the odd sportive

    45+km
42km round trip - down 2km from the last time there was a poll like this - due office move. Do it most every day except when I am out of the country for work. Weather not really a problem but did give a miss during some of the very high winds a few weeks back. No frost last winter was great

    5-10km
1.86 km each way, sometimes I do it 4 times a day too, I love being able to go home for lunch.

National and Dublin distances travelled by cyclists are on average lower than polls here.

Even trips like Castleknock to town (~8km) are on the high side compared to the bulk of cycling trips. But 8km is more than doable for a large amount of people even if it takes a bit of getting used to if you don't cycle much.

Just over 20km each way, so around 40km round trip. Like others I don't cycle every day, in fact it's a few weeks since I've cycled in work.

14k ish each way. But not everyday. I wish it was.

28km each way so covering 56km round trip, do this most days, 4 out of 5 anyway (summer months, closer to winter its only 2/3 times per week)

If the weather is fine and i can leave work early i go home via wicklow mountains and that is 80-100km depending on route

Same happens to me. And because I cycle every day twice a day (usually 26km x 2) I get wet all the time, as it rains every day. I still like it though (and I have no choice to be honest). Nothing we can do about it. Winter is just around the corner and I believe it will be a lot drier than the summer this year.

    1-5km
0k to work, about 200k per week leisure cycling and the odd bit of shopping. A bit more in summer, less in winter.
