Have you tried resetting the PRAM? Hold CMD + alt/option + P + R on boot? Or by resetting the SMC? Here's how to do that: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3964

Did you get the right charger with it? Also what is the battery health? You can use iStats menu3 to determine that.

Well first off that's not an official Apple battery, it's a third party one from DBK in China. Did you buy the Macbook directly from Apple with that battery in it? Unofficial third party batteries should not be in an Apple refurbished unit and if that was sold to you then I'd be contacting Apple to explain why an unofficial copy of a MacBook battery was in my refurbished but still pretty expensive Macbook. Apple has existing multi-million dollar licensed deals with official suppliers that cover replacements for things like batteries, power adapters, hard drives, DVD drives, etc to ensure the correct and fully tested components are available to Applecare customers until that computer reaches it's EOL seven years later. As far as I'm aware Apple have no connection whatsoever with DBK as a supplier. So either the battery is just a third party pile of junk or you just need to re-calibrate it:

    - Charge the battery up until the power LED light turns green, in your case this will happen at only 72%.

    - Unplug the adapter and run the battery down fully so that it enters into it's reserve charge. Keep using the Mac until it goes into a sleep mode automatically.

    - Now plug the charger back in. It might take ages to get past 1% because it is trickle charging but just leave it alone and it will eventually ramp up through the faster charge cycles. Did it go back to 100% or at least to something like 97%?

If it did then it's fine and it just needed re-calibration. If it didn't then the battery is failing and will only drop further over time. If Apple sold you that I'd be on the phone immediately for an official battery replacement. If you bought the Macbook from a third party then there is nothing Apple can do.
