Recommend handlebars and stem

Again, following a previous bike fit, I was recommended to switch to a longer stem, and I'd like to change from 44cm bars to 42cm bars, so I'm allocating some of next months bike budget to doing this, and am looking for some opinions and/or recommendations.

My bike currently has easton EA30 +/- 6 degree stem and 44cm ergo handlebars (which I find comfortable, but have nothing to compare to as it's my first good bike), so also taking the opportunity to upgrade slightly.

I'm looking at upgrading to 42cm EA70 Aero bars, as I'd like to try out bars with flat midsection, and a 120mm +/- 6 degree EA50 stem.

Are there any other 42cm aero bars and 120mm +/- 6 degree stems around the €120-€200 combined price range that are worth a look? Carbon or not carbon...

Personally, and this is purely my own opinion, I think carbon bars and stems are a total waste of money. The weight savings are marginal (a lot of full carbon stems tend to be heavier than an alloy counterpart) and I've never noticed a significant change in ride quality.

I'm going to stick a set of 42cm FSA K-force bars up for sale shortly, I can also put a 120mm 3T stem into the mix.

I take it that you don't work in sales?
