    Hi,
I have a 2001 1.6 3 Door Ford Focus. It has two dents, one on the drivers door its large enough but not noticeable and another on the rear corner, its small but more noticeable.

The reason I want to sell it is because Im sick of putting money into it. It needs 1 new tyre, 2 cv joints new break pads and disks.

It recently had its exhaust, pre and post cat lambda sensors and the cat converter.New coil springs and wheel bearings. New radio

Other than that its in good condition. Has alloy wheels and a new radio.

Its 3 door and metallic navy.

How much do you think I could get for it?

If it were me I'd be holding onto it tbh.
You wont get that much for it, and having already invested into the sensors/exhaust etc you know that you wont need to change them for a while. The tyre/pads joints wont cost you that much tbh.
The focus is relativly cheap car to maintain and parts aren't that expensive.
You can search carzone for cars of a similiar type to get a price comparison.

Buy those parts and run it into the ground. At least you know then that you have sound parts in it

Do you want to risk buying another car with even more gremlins and problems?

And to answer your question, you might get €1500 tops for it, in that year, NCT etc

I only want about 1200, would settle for less. I wanted to buy a new car anyway.

What about putting it up for 1400 and let it go for 1100-1200

That's called maintenance ..... it does cost money,

    most things mentioned are consumables.
if you don't want to spend money on maintenance buy a new one for 25k and suffer 15k in depreciation over 3 years

What someone will pay for it, is what someone will pay for it, you could look for X and get X-500.
I do think though, you have put that much money into the car that putting a bit more into it and getting a couple more years out of it is a more financially viable option than selling it and buying something else that you havent a clue about the history of.

I know but for a car I wanted to get rid of anyway. The garage wants about €500 to fix it.

Fords are fairly DIY friendly. Buy the parts, the tools, do the lot yourself and have some change left over for a few pints ;)

Did you get a few quotes?
Whoever buys it off you will want that 500 quid taken off the purchase price.

I sold a car years ago for €1100, advertised for €1400. But it was in pristine condition, NCTd etc...

    Okay,
So I came to my senses and Im getting it fixed and holding onto it for a few months.

I'm getting all of the required parts for €127 and my dads friend is doing the work for €60.
