    What specified range? Those aerials are basically indoor units with a bit of weatherproofing.

    They may work in a strong signal area. Depending on the direction to the transmitter generally the advice is to mount any antenna higher than the higest point of the house and higher than all neighbouring houses.

    Height will have more of an effect than type of antenna. A professional installer would measure the signal and based on that decide if an aerial inside the attic will work and go with the best solution for the site. They will confirm that even if the signal drops a bit the TV will always work 100%.

    The costs of the above item may be better spent getting a professional installation.

    They are crap. What polarisation are they? Don't know! Nor do I, but I guess they are vertical designed for use in the Netherlands where signals are much stronger and vertical polarisation.

    If you are in a strong signal area a 10 element grouped aerial outside or possibly in the loft is the best option.
