    Hi, we are a group of lads in our late 40s playing an acoustic style set at the moment, and are looking for a bass player and someone who can play violin/fiddle/viola or cello to expand our sound.

    Our current set is based on an Americana theme; Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen, John Prine, The Band, Neil Young, Bruce Springsteen, Johnny Cash, Avett Brothers etc. A few originals and other songs that catch our fancy get thrown into the mix as well.
    We all sing and between us play guitars, banjo, mandolin, harmonicas, with the occasional bit of keys or accordion thrown in for good measure.
    If you can provide vocals that would be an advantage as we like to get multi-part harmonies going as often as possible.
    We play for the sheer joy of it, but would like to get back to gigging at some point in the near future.
    We meet Mondays (near Ashtown), so if you want to just play and not get into something too serious, this could be for you.
