    Hello All,

We are travelling to Dublin for the weekend of the 17th and 18th of August. There will be myself, hubby and 3 young children (6,3 and 5 months). We are looking for a nice hotel in Dublin. Ideally we would like a swimming pool and if the hotel was located on the south side as we are travelling from Cork. I was looking at B*****s in Newlands cross but all the family rooms are booked out.

    Any recommendations greatly appreciated!

The Maldron Cardiff lane (beside Grand Canal Theatre) might be suitable. They have family rooms and a swimming pool.

I stayed there a number of times and never had a problem. Comfortable hotel and location is quite handy depending on where youre looking to go.

Never had to park there myself but from the website you can park the car overnight in the adjacent car park for a tenner or 15 euro for a full 24 hours.

What about the Red Cow on the Naas Rd? They have a leisure centre and swimming pool. Right on the Luas track and I know they are offering lots of deals and promotions at the moment.
