    Hi all,

I played a fair share of golf when I was 12-15 , but with exams and the gas season, I didn't play as much and eventually stopped playing completly. I'm 17 now and and in the market for new clubs , The problem is though im unsure of what to get. I'm 5 '7 in height if that helps. I can get junior membership at my local 9 hole course for 50 so I think I'll avail of that.

    Thanks in advance

Loads of full sets on adverts.ie for anything between 80-150. Id just grab a good deal on there if i was you and worry about what you should and shouldn't be hitting in about a years time if you take to it again fully.

How good were you before. HC level, shots per round etc..

    What were your strong/weak points

I dont have any handicap, I'd usually take 39/40 shots on this course, my best was 37, http://gyazo.com/7a98b29243d6cedfa22f98209c180cb9

Having played a lot of pitch and putt, my short game would be my strong point

No, Is there a difference between men's and womens clubs?

No, Is there a difference between men's and womens clubs?

There is indeed, I'm no expert but there's plenty on the web to show the difference.

Also, mods aren't keen on posting links to advert sites other than adverts.ie afaik

You can play a bit so. Try get a cheap good secondhand set as opposed to a cheap new crap set.
Make sure grips are good as that makes a big difference.
Plenty of super older model irons out there for silly money
