I live in an apartment and want to move from Bord Gais to Electric Ireland, are there costs or major hassles involved?

Its mainly due to a dispute where Bord Gais want to hold on to my deposit for a further 14 months, that will make it two and a half years.

Are you tied to a contract with Bord Gais? If so, you might not be able to switch - or you might, but with a charge from them.

If you have both gas and esb. Bord gais give you a better value.
