Doubt it, 1475 for me. Britton was €9 cheaper but weren't giving me the windscreen cover + breakdown assistance and a few more perks which First Ireland were.

Did that before never heard anything back, better of given them a bell in the morning. Never went with the quote in the end because when I went to view the car it turned out to be in bits.

Yeah with a Aviva (thiefs) but only short term until I pick up my own yoke in a few weeks/maybe months.

my renewal was really cheap and I told them fbd had the same price with break down assist and all the perks so they matched it.

*I lied fbd were €1300 but I told brit €1100 and perks. so they matched to keep me.

just need to play them a bit is all

Nope, just myself, TPFT. Not that I actually did have to so much shopping around buy of you do you will probably get a good price.

All these big companies like Aviva, Liberty, Axa are all a rip off with there quotes of over 2500 and that. Speaking of Liberty I was quoted 5 grand by them before.

Well thanks a lot for the info. I haven't looked for insurance yet myself cause I'm automatically insured in one car at home. But I'll be looking for insurance on my mom's car as well when her existing insurance runs out next year.

I rang first ireland for my son who turned 18 in may with no driving expirence at all and they offered him 1380 in a 1.2 02 punto if he done 10lessons with one of there instuctors insured with them. So if he done 5 they will give him the policy there and then so 10 lessons 250+1380=1630 which i think is pretty good.

He has a provisional and the policy is in his name, now its only 3rd party fire & theft but to me thats still a very good price as i remember paying 2500punt myself at 18 on a 1lt polo when i started out:(
